Interactive Work

My class as instructed to find and review/critique one interactive project that we find interesting. I have chosen to talk about Michal Kohut's work, titled "0,1." This is an interactive project consisting of a single pair of glasses connected to the lights in the room. When the viewers put on the glasses, the lights in the room correspond with their blinking pattern. When the viewer blinks, the lights in the room go dark for a split second. I found this project to be very interesting because of the unique interaction that the viewer can have with the work. Since they are blinking, they might not be able to truly experience the piece until they watch someone else put on the glasses. From what I've seen, the lights switch on and off so fast that the participant wearing the glasses may not even realize what is happening in the moment. Below, I have attached a link to view how the interactive piece works.
