Website Critique

On Tuesday, my Graphic Design II class held a critique for each of our websites. I enjoyed looking at everyone's websites and hearing the opinions of everyone.

For my website specifically, I got a lot of advice on what my next steps should be. Functionally, there were a few mistakes in the positioning of elements on the webpages. These were quick fixes, and I will be sure to double check how my website looks on different screens in the future.

I was advised to simplify the navigation on my page, which I have been working on since the critique. To help with this, I made my homepage my portfolio and made my bio and artist statement appear on one page instead of two.

I also was advised to double check the spelling of content on my resume, which was another quick fix. In the future, I will be sure to double check the content more carefully.

Since the critique, I have been working on improving the elements discussed in class, as well as adding more "personal touches" and "aesthetics" to my website.
